QIS CRS provides permanent waterproofing on old and new cementitious surfaces, concrete and briquette structures. The chemicals within the QIS CRS react in the applied structure and form insoluble crystals.
USAGE AREAS
- Water structures, water tanks, pools, water treatment plants,
- dams, canals, ports, manholes,
- sewer pipes, concrete pipes, retaining wall,
- basement wall, foundations, underground floors,
- construction joints, grain silos, floor parking lots, roofs,
- It is used in structures such as underground car parks.
FEATURES
- QIS CRS effectively prevents water from advancing through the formation of crystals in capillary spaces containing water and provides a lifetime waterproofing to the structure.
- It prevents the formation of moisture in the structure where it is applied.
- It prevents moisture and odor on moldy surfaces.
- It does not lose its ability to react and the product comes to life after years with the moisture and water infiltrating the concrete.
- It repairs the capillary cracks formed in the concrete by 0.5mm over time.
- It does not prevent the breathing of concrete, does not cut air and water vapor.
- It provides protection against aggressive chemicals such as chlorine and sulfate.
- Its active substance does not dissolve and does not leave the surface.
- It is resistant to both positive and negative water pressure.
- It can be applied to interior and exterior facades.
- It is not affected by ultraviolet rays and oxidation.
- By increasing the PH value of the concrete, it protects the concrete and steel reinforcement from chemicals and prevents corrosion.
- Since it is a part of the concrete structure, it cannot be torn, punctured or aged.
- It can be used instead of waterstop tape in immobile construction joints, it is used on fresh concrete for waterproofing horizontal joints.
- It can be used in shotcrete applications.
- It is not poisonous, it is used in drinking water tanks.
