QIS CARBON TY is a knitted fabric weave formed by
heat treated
E glass glass fiber – thermoplastic
fibers placed perpendicular to the axis of unidirectional carbon -based fibers used for structural reinforcement.
AREAS OF USAGE

In bending and shear loads of building elements (reinforced concrete, stone and brick walls, wood);
Reinforcement of reinforced concrete beams against bending and shear,
Reinforcement of reinforced concrete slabs against bending,
Reinforcement of reinforced concrete columns against pressure, increasing ductility ,

Reinforcement of missing reinforcement,
Structural reinforcement,
It is used for seismic reinforcement of masonry walls (brick, stone), for domes, vaults and minarets of historical monuments.

FEATURES

  • It is easy to transport within the construction site due to its low unit weight.
  • It can be cut in both directions as its wefts are strengthened by heat treatment .
  • Since its density is low, it does not impose an additional load on the reinforced structure.
